Professional and caring are two words that come to mind when I think of Charla Holst. I’ve known her for many years as she worked with several of my children in a school setting. Recently we joined a new church and were struggling with having our son, who has Down Syndrome, adapt to new people and surroundings. Charla saw our need and started problem solving. She held disability training for the church, and even as a seasoned mom of special needs children, I learned new techniques and even more importantly, I was given hope and encouragement.
